Dear Visitor, Brown's townhouse was built in 1886 and is a Victorian house of charm and character. On one of Waterford's most attractive streets Brown's Townhouse offers visitors a quiet respite from the hustle and bustle of the city, yet it is only a few minutes from the heart of this Norman / Viking city. The house was sensitively refurbished in 1996 to include modern creature comforts, yet retaining the charm and elegance of the Victorian era. Bedrooms are individually decorated with traditional furnishings and antiques. The spacious and elegant en-suite bedrooms have direct dial telephones and televisions. You are assured of a relaxed and friendly atmosphere in the warm and cosy guest lounge. Guests awaken to the smell of freshly baked bread . Breakfast around the well appointed dining room table is leisurely and relaxed, and a lively chat is assured. We cook breakfast using local produce, freshly baked breads and homemade preserves. A full breakfast menu is provided which changes with the season, and always includes vegetarian dishes.
