Waterford Golf Club

18 Hole - Par 71 - 6,237 Yards - 5,722 Metres

Attractive parkland course designed by the great James Braid who was Open Champion on five occasions. Waterford is particularly renowned for the quality of its greens and for its friendly atmosphere. The first nine demands accuracy from the tee. The back nine is more forgiving and features a great closing stretch with a classic finishing hole. Here the drive is struck from an elevated tee, with a 360 degree view, to a narrow fairway which winds its way downhill, between some threatening gorse, to a receptive green 400 yards away.
